International Master Program in Healthcare Science

一、修業年限

本學程屬碩士班學制，修業年限為 2 至 4 年，依本校學則辦理。

Duration of Study
This program is a master’s degree program. The duration of study is from two to four years, in accordance with the academic regulations of the university.

二、修業學分

學生須修畢至少 30 學分，包括：

  • 必修 12 學分
  • 選修 12 學分
  • 論文 6 學分

學生須完成學術倫理課程並通過檢核。

Credit Requirements
Students must complete a minimum of 36 credits, including:

  • 12 required credits
  • 12 elective credits
  • 6 thesis credits

Students must also complete and pass the Academic Ethics Course.

三、指導教授

  1. 研究生應於入學第一學年結束前選定指導教授，並繳交「指導教授選定書」。
  2. 若需更換指導教授，須提出「指導教授變更申請書」，並經原及新指導教授簽名同意。
  3. 更換指導教授後需同時變更研究主題，並繳回原主題之研究紀錄。

Thesis Advisor

  1. Students must select a thesis advisor before the end of the first academic year and submit the “Advisor Selection Form.”
  2. To change an advisor, the student must complete the “Application for Change of Thesis Advisor” form and obtain the signatures of both the original and new advisors.
  3. When changing an advisor, the student must also change the research topic and return all research records related to the previous topic.

四、論文計畫書審查

  1. 研究生須於第一學年第二學期至第二學年第一學期間提出論文計畫書審查。
  2. 論文計畫書內容應包含：摘要、研究背景與重要性、文獻回顧、研究目的、方法與設計、預期結果與討論。
  3. 審查委員會由三至五位相關領域專家組成，指導教授為當然委員。
  4. 口試通過門檻為委員三分之二以上同意且平均分數達七十分。

Thesis Proposal Review

  1. Students must submit their thesis proposal between the second semester of the first year and the first semester of the second year.
  2. The proposal should include: abstract, background and significance, literature review, objectives, methodology, expected results, and discussion.
  3. The review committee consists of 3–5 members, including the advisor as an ex-officio member.
  4. The passing threshold is at least two-thirds approval of the committee members and an average score of 70 or above.

五、學位考試

學生須完成以下事項方得申請學位考試：

  1. 完成所有修業學分。
  2. 通過論文計畫書審查。
  3. 具至少一篇學術成果，並符合以下條件之一：
    　(1) 經審查之期刊論文；
    　(2) 國際或國內學術研討會之口頭報告或壁報發表；
    　(3) 已完成投稿至 SCI/SSCI/EI 期刊。
    學生須為第一作者，指導教授為共同作者。

Degree Examination
Students must meet the following requirements to apply for the degree examination:

  1. Completion of all required credits.
  2. Approval of the thesis proposal.
  3. At least one academic work meeting one of the following criteria:
    　(i) Published in a peer-reviewed journal;
    　(ii) Oral or poster presentation at an international or domestic academic conference;
    　(iii) Submission to an SCI/SSCI/EI journal.
    The student must be the first author, and the advisor must be a co-author.

六、學位授予

修畢規定學分並通過碩士學位考試者，授予「國際健康照護科學碩士」（Master of Science in International Healthcare Science, M.S.）。

Degree Conferral
Students who complete the required credits and pass the master’s degree examination will be awarded the degree:
Master of Science in International Healthcare Science (M.S.).

七、其他規定

未盡事宜依中山醫學大學學則及相關研究所規定辦理。

Other Provisions
Matters not specified herein shall be governed by the general academic regulations of Chung Shan Medical University.
